The Instituto Benjamin Franklin de Yucatán has been operating as a Mexican-North American Binational Center for Cultural Relations for the past 40 years. The center is a non-profit organization to promote cultural and educational exchanges between Yucatán and the rest of the world. Our spanish as second lenguage dept receives students from all over the world.

Located in a colonial building in the historic center of Mérida, the Institute´s facilities include classrooms with a capacity of 20, a library, a video viewing room and snack bar. Staff members are willing to adapt programs to the especific needs of their clients.
